The Crawford School

          Orginal built 1855, closed in 1944, reopened in 1950's and closed again in 1958

          A one-room school was located on Crawfords Corner Road where the first aid – fire company building is now. The Crawford School was built in 1855 and used till 1914, when a new one-room school on the same location replaced it. A second classroom was added in 1932. In 1958 it became Holmdel’s town hall and library.
