Dear Parent/Guardian:
It is a pleasure to have your son/daughter as a student in my math class. My goals for the year are that your student develops a thorough grasp of the subject matter, broadens his/her skill to read mathematics for understanding, develops the ability to communicate mathematical concepts in written and oral form, and gains a sense of responsibility. He/she will have the opportunity to work independently and with others. To achieve these goals and maintain a positive and effective learning environment, students must follow all school rules and regulations as well as my class rules. Please take a moment to review the Information Sheet and the homework policy given to your student in class on the first day of school.
